Sad news about the Queen

With reference to the sad news about the Queen’s death, Bronwen Gray-Specht, the founder of Interkulturel e.V., has sent, via the BBC  a message of condolence to Buckingham Palace on behalf of Interkultur.  Here is the text…..

‘From ‘Interkultur e.V.’

‘As a small charity whose aims are to bring people together through the Arts, 

with particular emphasis between Britain and Germany, we send our sincere

condolences to the Queen and our gratitude for all that she did for the world, on

many levels, during her lifetime.  She was a remarkable person with a wonderfully 

open mind, a delightful sense of humour and a heart full of compassion.  She will NEVER be

forgotten.  During this difficult time, we also send heartfelt sympathy to her family.

God bless you ALL.’

"Queen Elizabeth II.  has died!"

So eine Königin wie sie 

gab es noch nie.

Sie diente dem Land, sie diente der Krone

und wird verehrt nun wie eine Ikone.

70 Jahre - ein Leben für den Thron.

Der Nachfolger ist nun ihr ältester Sohn.

"God save the King!"
